Counselling can offer you the time, privacy and support required to explore aspects of your life you may feel you need to understand better, or areas in which you would like to grow. Somewhere you can talk to someone who is impartial and unconnected with your everyday life.
Someone with who you can share thoughts and feelings. There may be times in our lives that things seem difficult to cope with, or understand, or maybe we just need some gentle support with adjusting to changes beyond our control, or even in making positive choices for ourselves.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a safe and natural means for allowing positive change in your life. It guides you into a "Deeply Relaxed State" allowing access to the unconscious mind where all deeply rooted behaviour and thought patterns reside. It can be said that all hypnosis is self hypnosis – as every individual enters hypnosis by themselves and of their own free will – the therapist effectively and appropriately guides you to move forward positively, whilst you take control of your life.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy can enable you to gain a clearer understanding of how and why you feel, think and act as you do. Perhaps exploring your past and gaining an understanding of those links in connection with the present. Psychotherapists do not give advice or tell you what to do. Psychotherapy works by enabling and supporting you to explore and find your own solutions.
NLP Neuro Linguistic Programming
NLP explores the relationship between how we think (neuro), how we communicate both verbally and non-verbally (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programmes).
It has been enthusiastically taken up by those in the helping professions as a fast, effective and safe way of curing phobias, removing unwanted habits, and helping with trauma. It can be used to relieve stress, improve confidence, and tackle many of the problems that people may experience in their lives. The areas in which it is applied have now spread far beyond therapy.
